2008 Official MLB Futures Predictions

We're short staffed in the 2008 baseball season due to one of the researchers becoming a new father and another staffer being in Europe for business most of the season.

We'll be back in the saddle in the 2009 baseball season with the underdogs newsletter.

Note that we will still be selling copies of the Totals Formula for the 2008 Season.

Thanks for your business.

-- Note: Subscribers were alerted to an obvious Bet365.com oversight on July 10, 2004, in which St. Louis was still listed at generous -125 (4 to 5) odds to win NL Central, despite having a commanding 7 game lead in that division. It was recommended that subscribers jump on it again:
NL Central Division Winner: St. Louis Cardinals-
4 to 5 odds at Bet365.com
Result: WON

**How bad was the Bet365.com oversight on this? Within 48 hours, they changed the line to St. Louis at a whopping
-500 (1 to 5) odds to win the division, despite not having a bigger divisional lead.

-- Note: Subscribers were alerted to an obvious Olympic Sportsbook oversight on July 28, 2004, in which Atlanta was listed at generous +130 (13 to 10) odds to win NL East, and Philadelphia was listed at generous +155 odds to win the NL East. We stated that the only team that could beat Atlanta was Philadelphia, and that subscribers could even take both teams in a futures bet and guarantee themselves a profit:
NL East Division Winner: Atlanta Braves-
13 to 10 odds at Olympic Sportsbook (theGreek.com)
Result: WON

UPDATE: Just 5 days after passing along our play on Atlanta at +130 (13 to 10 odds), the sportsbooks had them at a whopping 1 to 6 odds to win the NL East.
